Description: The article is devoted to the extreme opposite to each other anthropological foundations of the educational process, in particular pedagogy, based on Hesychasm and postmodernism. A brief historical review of these concepts is given. A comparative analysis of anthropological approaches to educational models based on Hesychasm and postmodernism is shown.
