Description: The article discusses some applied aspects and features of collecting traces of biological origin and conducting forensic biological research (DNA). A general set of methodological and methodical errors is presented. All expert errors have different origins, but this does not prevent them from being grouped according to stable features. Their detection, classification and elimination are mandatory. In another case, the presence of the considered shortcomings entails the fallacy of conclusions and the fallacy of court decisions. As a result, the criminal remains unpunished. Key words: methodological, methodical, errors, aspects, biological, DNA.
