Description: This work classifies integrated industrial systems for the treatment and regeneration of water and aqueous solutions, built on a modular architecture. Basic modules with two or three section ion exchange columns deliver throughputs from 500 to 3,500 L/h and combine into complete treatment trains. A reagent free process is described, integrating aerodynamic vortex foam flotation, multifunctional electrochemical reactors for pH correction, disinfection and coagulation, sedimentation, ion exchange on zeolite and resin, self cleaning mechanical or membrane filters, and final aeration to full oxygen saturation. Non contact online monitoring based on electromagnetic resonance spectroscopy oversees every stage. Two application schemes are detailed: inlet treatment of municipal or artesian water for smart homes, and regeneration of used water for recirculation, irrigation and industrial reuse. A radioactive water purification case study is included.
