Description: Print media is an important part of the formation of public opinion in the country. Freedom of expression and ethics of journalists directly affect the cultural consciousness of the nation and its intellectual development.There is a problem intervention, non-interference in the activities of the press. Censorship is necessary in order to protect the citizen from «information dirt» which can be seen frequently in the media, including print. The main thing that censorship is not contrary to applicable laws and do not undermine respect for human rights. The main laws governing the media in Ukraine:Ukraine Constitution, the Laws of Ukraine «On information», «On the print media (the press) in Ukraine», «On State Secrets», «On amendments and additions to the provisions of legislation Ukraine concerning the protection of honor, dignity and business reputation of individuals and organizations», the Law of Ukraine «On state support of mass media and social protection of journalists» and others.
