Hipters Zinaida. Economic education of children and youth as a factor of social protection: historical and pedagogical aspect

Description: The article deals with the contribution of Ukrainian intellectuals to the theory and practice of economic education of children and youth in the first half of the twentieth century. The analysis of practical activities and theoretical works of co-operators and teachers shows that both Western European scientists and domestic teachers contributed to the application of psychological research methods in professional orientation, the development of economic education, the acquisition of new professions as a factor in social protection in the new socio-economic conditions. They paid special attention to the formation of a new pedagogical experience on the basis of experimentation, generalization, theoretical reflection and implementation in practice.
