Description: Iterated maps are deterministic models of dynamical systems in discrete time. A key feature of these models is the concept of invariant density associated with the asymptotic onset of stationarity. Drawing from the minimal fractality of spacetime near the Fermi scale, we show here that invariant density enables a step-by-step derivation of Quantum Mechanics from iterated maps.
