Description: Article is devoted to the definition of the methodological foundations of the study of personality's speech organization. The content of system-structural and system-functional approach to the creation of a theoretical model of speech organization is revealed. The general system theory makes it possible to consider speech organization as an ordered set of elements which are characterized by specific structural and functional connections.
