Description: Ohm's law has been stated and re-stated by many a physicist and physics teachers in a variety of ways, the most usual being either of the following. ...keeping all physical conditions constant the current owing through a conductor is directly proportional to the potential diff erence applied across its end OR .... keeping all physical conditions constant potential difference across the conductor is directly proportional to the current owing through it. In this paper I will show that both are equivalent but require diff erent ways to experiment with and understand.
